Anything Goes Quizzes are ones to assess how much you remember from previous years and/or previous units. You will be able to retake an Anything Goes Quiz to better your grade, but you can only do it once. The higher grade will prevail in the gradebook.
Topics will include the following, but NOT limited to:
1. Fractions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
2. Decimals (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
3. Percents
4. Linear Equations (slope, y-intercept, graphing, writing an equation, etc)
5. Graphing on a coordinate plane
6. Real Number System: Natural Numbers, Whole Numbers, Integers, Rational Numbers, and Irrational Numbers
7. Area Problems (any problems on the MCAS Reference Sheet)
8. Perimeter Problems
9. Volume Problems (any problems on the MCAS Reference Sheet)
10. Pythagorean Thm
11. Solve equations algebraically w/all steps
12. Estimating
13. PEMDAS
14. Any material from previous units
Ms. Blasioli will be giving reference sheets at the beginning of the year to all students. These reference sheets should be kept in your binder and anything that is on them is fair game for Anything Goes Quizzes. You can also have topics from previous chapters that we have discussed. It is imperative you keep up the skills from previous material you learned in elementary, middle, and high school!!!
